The waiting list is only open to applicants who meet DOH's disability preference and can verify disability as defined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Cache Valley Daily, The Newton Town Library is hosting a Luau on June 19, from 6-8PM at the Newton Park Pavilion. The event will include roast pig and authentic polynesian cuiisine, a ukulele band, hawaiian dancers, and a huka hoiop contest. Cost is $15/plate. Advance tickets purchase is recommended. Cache Valley Daily, The Spring Fling event is this Saturday, June 13th at the North Logan Walmart front grass area from 8am to 4pm. This is a Fund Raiser for Breast Cancer Awareness. We have over 100 FREE drawings donated from local businesses and vendors that will be given out throughout the day. We have several Inflatable bounce houses, and Games booths. We have food vendors like Navajo Tacos, Fry Bread, Polynesian Grill, Cotton Candy and Hawaiian Ice. We also have 30+ vendor booths. This is a great FAMILY FUN EVENT!

Canon City Daily Record, PROPOSED PUBLIC NOTICE Technical Revision No.46 (TR-46) - Southfield Mine - Permit No. C-81-014 Revision Request to Replace Monitor Well MW-NW. Energy Fuels Coal Inc. (EFCI), 115 E. Main Street, STE 10, P.O. Box 459, Florence, Colorado 81226, has filed an approval request for Technical Revision No.46 (TR-46) with the State of Colorado, Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DRMS). All mining operations subject to this permit have ceased, and only reclamation and monitoring activities are occurring. Items addressed by the TR-46 Revision Request consist of replacing the existing Monitor Well MW-NW, by drilling another monitoring well (MWNW-2). The existing MW-NW monitor well has a partial obstruction in the well casing in the lower extremity of the well. The Southfield Mine area is located approximately eight miles south of Florence, Colorado, on County Road 92. The Mine area is bounded on the south and west by the base of the Wet Mountains, and Newlin Creek bisects the mine area from southwest to northeast. The Southfield Mine permit area is located on portions of the following sections: Sections 19, 30, and 31; Township 20S, Range 69W, 6th Principal Meridian Sections 23, 24, 25, 26 and 36; Township 20S, Range 70W, 6th Principal Meridian These sections are shown on the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Rockvale quadrangle map (Mine Area). The proposed site for the new monitoring well (MWNW-2) is situate in the SW4, SW4, Section 19, Range 69W, Township 20S of the 6th P.M.
