Denver Post, COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL AFFAIRS DIVISION OF HOUSING (DOH) NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY FOR 2014-2015 ESG SHELTER COMPONENT FUNDING The Colorado Department of Local Affairs, Division of Housing (DOH) is requesting applications for Shelter Component activities of its 2014-2015 Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funding for homeless service providers in the State of Colorado. Applicants must have a non-profit 501(c) (3) designation or be a unit of local government to be eligible. DOH will contract directly with agencies statewide for ESG eligible shelter component activities. Applicants must make a dollar for dollar matching contribution to supplement their ESG funds and must meet all HUD requirements. Eligible shelter component activities include: Shelter Operations Staff Operations Essential Services (including using the centralized or coordi nated assessment system as required under 576.400(d) Administration HMIS To view the complete ESG application kit, please go to http://dola.colorado.gov/cdh/index.html or send an email to Shannon Picaso at shannon.picaso@state.co.us. Award and Funding Timeline: Funding awards will be announced by September 19, 2014, with new 2014-15 ESG contract execution anticipated by November 1, 2014.
