Denver Post, PUBLIC NOTICEThis Public Notice is to inform all interested people how to obtain a random choice lottery ticket in order to be considered for possible placement on Jefferson County Housing Authority's (JCHA) Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program.You must pick up a random choice lottery ticket at JCHA's office at:7490 West 45th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033The lottery tickets will ONLY be available for two days and from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on the following dates:Thursday, October 24, 2013 and Friday, October 25, 2013JCHA will stop issuing random choice lottery tickets at 3:00 pm on October 25, 2013.You must be at least 18 years of age. Only one ticket per family will be accepted into the lottery. If you complete more than one ticket, both tickets will be voided.Once you have picked up your lottery ticket, it must be completed by answering all the questions. Any lottery ticket submitted without all the questions completely answered will not be accepted. The lottery must be mailed and post marked by the U.S. Post Office no later thanNovember 8, 2013. Any ticket postmarked after this date will not be accepted.All of the lottery tickets will be randomly drawn. The dates of the drawings will be published in separate Public Notices. The lottery winners (first selected ticket numbers) will be posted at the JCHA Office and posted on JCHA's website (www.jcha.org). Lottery winners will be eligible to apply for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program. Directions to apply for JCHA's Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program will be sent to the lottery winners when they are formally notified in writing. Each time the lottery is opened, the previously submitted lottery tickets will be destroyed.
