The project is located near the intersection of Colorado State Highway 172 and La Plata County Roads 513 and 311 in La Plata County Colorado. The project constructs acceleration and deceleration lanes on State Highway 172 and realigns County Road 311 The construction time is 200 working days that and is estimated to be from November 18, 2013 until November 21, 2014. Underutilized Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (UDBEs) will participate by contracting for a part of the work of this Contract and the contract goal for participation by certified DBEs who have been determined to be underutilized has been established as eight percent (8%).
