The 375hp L78 camaro was built in Norwood, OH the third week of April and was first sold on May 15, 1967. Seven consecutive owners have been documented dating back to January 29, 1968 when a local man purchased the used car from Holloway Chevrolet in Sterling (Logan County), Colorado. Prior to that, official documents confirm the car was registered in Logan County, Colorado and recorded as title number E36697. The original factory color was deepwater blue with blue interior but the car had been repainted a lighter gunmetal shade of lynndale blue before January 29, 1968.
