Denver Post, Request For Proposal: Architectural/Engineering Services Cheyenne County Hospital District, formed in 1976 for the purpose of building and operating a nursing facility, is seeking proposals for architectural and engineering for a new capital project to be completed in 2014. This nursing facility serves individuals from Cheyenne County, Kit Carson County, and Kiowa County. The facility receives funding from the county, private pay residents and Medicaid reimbursements. It has a five member elected board of directors, and operations are through a licensed administrator. Project Description: The facility desires to renovate seven single rooms into three one-bedroom apartments and one community/sitting room. These remodeled rooms will serve as Assisted Living Apartments if approved by the state. Funding for this project will be through grants, available funds and low interest USDA loans.
