Canon City Daily Record, Nick and Joan DeSalvo celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary (August 7, 1965) by renewing their vows at the 4:00 p.m. mass on Saturday, August 8, 2015, at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Pueblo, Colorado where they were married. Surrounded by their family and friends, they set an amazing example of their sacred commitment and importance of marriage with God's blessing. Following mass, their family and friends gathered for dinner together hosted by their children, grandchildren and wedding party participants.
