Denver Post, NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CONCERNING THE ISSUANCE BY COLORADO HEALTH FACILITIES AUTHORITY OF ITS TAX-EXEMPT NOTE (FREEDOM SERVICE DOGS, INC. PROJECT) SERIES 2015 IN ONE OR MORE SERIES IN AN AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $2,336,250. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Colorado Health Facilities Authority, an independent public body politic and corporate constituting a public instrumentality of the State of Colorado (the "Authority") will conduct a public hearing at 3033 East First Avenue, Suite 301, Denver, Colorado 80206, on July 6, 2015, at or about 10:00 a.m., to address the Authority's proposed issuance of its Tax-Exempt Note (Freedom Service Dogs, Inc. Project) Series 2015 in one or more series in the maximum principal amount not to exceed $2,336,250 (the "Note"), and the corresponding plan of finance relating to the issuance of the Note and the financing described therein. The Authority intends to loan proceeds of the Note to Freedom Service Dogs, Inc., a Colorado nonprofit corporation (the "Company"), an organization described in Section 501(c)(3), and exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(a), of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, and the Company intends to use such proceeds to finance or refinance the following: (a) the repayment of that certain Promissory Note, dated June 2, 2015, in the principal amount of $1,878,414, payable to the order of BOKF, NA, the advanced proceeds of which were used to fund the acquisition of certain land and improvements located at 7173 South Dillon Court, Englewood, Colorado; (b) the acquisition of land and certain improvements located at 7193 South Dillon Court, Englewood, Colorado, including reimbursement of the Company for certain capital expenditures previously incurred by the Company for such purposes at such location; (c) the construction, renovation, and equipping of certain land and improvements located (or to be located) at 7173 and 7193 South Dillon Court, Englewood, Colorado, including reimbursement of the Company for certain capital expenditures previously incurred by the Company for such purposes at such location; and (d) certain costs incurred to issue the Note. The Company will be the owner and operator of the property referenced above and the improvements located (or to be located) thereon. Interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing, which will be the only public hearing held prior to the Authority's consideration of a resolution authorizing the issuance of the Note for the proposed purposes set forth above.
