Canon City Daily Record, A BILL FOR ORDINANCE NO. 4, SERIES OF 2015 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PORTIONS OF CHAPTER 2.64 OF THE CAñON CITY MUNICIPAL CODE TO DECREASE THE MEMBERSHIP ON THE LIBRARY/MUSEUM ADVISORY BOARD WHEREAS, the Council of Cañon City has determined that the Library/Museum Advisory Board will become more efficient and effective if the number of Board Members is reduced from nine to seven members. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF CANON CITY, as follows: Section 1 : 2.64.010 of the Canon City Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: 2.64.010Library/Museum Advisory Board created. The Library/Museum Advisory Board shall be comprised of seven (7) members appointed in accordance with the provisions of this Chapter 2.64. Such Board shall be nonpolitical, shall advise the City and its officials on matters concerning the Library and the Museum, and shall have such powers, duties, responsibilities and functions as are set forth in this Chapter 2.64. The Board's primary focus shall be on matters of policy and planning for the Library and Museum.
