Denver Post, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Colorado Educational and Cultural Facilities Authority (the "Authority") will conduct a public hearing on July 7, 2015 (the "Public Hearing") concerning the approval of the issuance by the Authority of its Variable Rate Demand Tax Exempt Loan (National Jewish Federation Bond Program), Series V-1 in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $3,600,000 (the "Loan"). The Public Hearing is a forum to discuss the issuance of the Loan for the Project described below. The proceeds of the Loan will be loaned by the Authority to Flying J Ranch LLC (the "Borrower"), a Colorado limited liability company whose sole member is JEWISHcolorado ("JC"), a Colorado nonprofit corporation and 501(c)(3) organization. Proceeds of the Loan will be loaned to and used by the Borrower for a plan of finance comprised of the following elements: (a) refinance debt used to (i) pay the costs of acquiring and improving an overnight summer camp and conference retreat facility located at 26601 Stoney Pass Road, Sedalia, Colorado 80135 (the "Facilities") and (ii) pay certain issuance expenses; and (b) pay certain costs of originating the Series V-1 Loan (collectively, the "Project"). The Facilities are owned by the Borrower and leased to Ramah in the Rockies, a 501(c)(3) organization. The Loan and the interest thereon shall never constitute the debt or indebtedness of the Authority or any political subdivision of the State of Colorado within the meaning of any provision of the Constitution of the State of Colorado and shall not constitute nor give rise to a pecuniary liability or a charge against the general credit or taxing powers of the Authority or the State of Colorado or any political subdivision of the State of Colorado. This notice is intended to comply with the public notice requirements of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. All interested parties are invited to attend and present comments at the Public Hearing regarding the plan of finance, the issuance of the Loan and the Project. The Public Hearing on the plan of finance, the Loan and the Project will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the offices of the Authority located at 1981 Blake Street, Denver, Colorado 80202-1272.
