Denver Post, Notice is hereby given that the Executive Director of the Colorado Educational and Cultural Facilities Authority (the “Authority”) will conduct a public hearing on July 24, 2013 (the “Public Hearing”) concerning the approval of the plan of finance involving the issuance by the Authority of its Variable Rate Demand Revenue Tax-Exempt Loan (National Jewish Federation Bond Program) in one or more series in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $15,000,000 (the “Loan”). The Public Hearing is a forum to discuss the plan of finance and issuance of the Loan to finance the projects described below. The Loan proceeds will be loaned by the Authority to The Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County, Inc., a Florida nonprofit corporation (the “Borrower”) for a plan of finance comprised of the following elements: (a) to pay for the construction and equipping of the Arthur I. Meyer Jewish Academy, a day school for children attending kindergarten through the eighth grade, located at 5225 Hood Road, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and (b) to pay costs of issuance and fund certain accounts in connection therewith (collectively, the “Project”). The facilities financed as part of the Project will be owned by the Borrower and leased to, and operated by, The Arthur I. Meyer Jewish Academy, Inc., a Florida nonprofit corporation. The Loan and the interest thereon shall never constitute the debt or indebtedness of the Authority or any political subdivision of the State of Colorado (the “State”) within the meaning of any provision of the Constitution of the State and shall not constitute nor give rise to a pecuniary liability or a charge against the general credit or taxing powers of the Authority or the State or any political subdivision of the State. All interested parties are invited to attend and present comments at the Public Hearing regarding the plan of finance, the Project and the issuance of the Loan. The Public Hearing on the plan of finance, the Project and the issuance of the Loan will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., at the offices of the Authority located at 1981 Blake Street, Denver, Colorado 80202-1272. Written comments may also be submitted to the Authority at the Authority’s address set forth above, until the date of the public hearing.
