Denver Post, The Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA), Division of Housing (DOH) in conjunction with Jefferson Center for Mental Health will open its Housing Choice Voucher Program waiting list for one day Thursday July 09, 2015 from 8:00AM-2:00PM. The waiting list is only open to applicants who meet DOH's disability preference and can verify disability as defined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Applications are now available for pick up at 4851 Independence Street, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 at the Navigation office; if you are in need of a reasonable accommodation due to your disability please contact 303.432.5435. Completed applications can be submitted in two different ways; (1) in person from 8:00AM-2:00PM on July 09, 2015 at 4851 Independence Street Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 (2) mailed and postmarked on July 09, 2015. Only completed applications received in person between 8:00AM-2:00PM that day or with a postmark of July 09, 2015 will be accepted. Applications must be our original applications; any other applications will not be accepted. All accepted applications will be placed on a random sort wait list, the order received is not important. Please note: if you are going to mail your application your envelope must be post marked the day of July 9th in order to be accepted-not a day before or after.
