Canon City Daily Record, ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS INSTALLATION OF RUBBERIZED PLAYGROUND SURFACING BID NO. 26-15 The City of Canon City is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors until Tuesday April 21st at 11:00am for the installation of approximately 700 square feet of rubberized playground surfacing, critical fall height is 6 feet, surfacing shall be of an appropriate thickness to protect falls from this height . Refer to product manufacturers specifications for fall height attenuation. The project site is located within an existing playground at Rudd Park, 12th & College Avenue in Canon City, Colorado. The concrete sub-base for the project shall be installed by the (owner) and is not the responsibility of the contractor . The successful bidder will be required to install and maintain temporary fencing to fully enclose the work area during the entire duration of the project. The cost of the protective fencing shall be included in the per square foot or unit price . The work area to be fenced is approximately 55'x55'.
