Denver Post, PUBLIC NOTICE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS Public Notice is hereby given that the Glendale Economic Redevelopment Authority (GERA) is seeking proposals for redevelopment of that portion of the area within the boundaries of the Glendale Riverwalk Urban Renewal Plan (the Plan) generally bounded by S. Colorado Boulevard on the west, E. Virginia Avenue on the north, Cherry Creek Drive South on the south, and S. Cherry Street on the east City of Glendale, State of Colorado (the Property). In accordance with Section 31-25-106, C.R.S., GERA is seeking proposals from legally and financially qualified persons for redevelopment of the Property as the major component of the overall redevelopment of the Plan area. Preference will be given to persons who undertake responsibility for redevelopment of the entire Property, including firm deadlines for commencement and completion of such redevelopment. All pertinent information is available from and proposals shall be submitted to the Glendale Economic Development Authority, Attention: Jerry Peters, Executive Director, 950 S. Birch Street, Glendale, CO 80246. Responsive proposals submitted on or before 4:30 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time on March 12, 2015, will be considered by GERA. GERA reserves the right to (1) reject any and all proposals in whole or in part; (2) waive any and all irregularities in proposals; (3) commence negotiations with any or all parties who submit proposals before the expiration of the time for submission of proposals. GERA will consider the financial and legal ability of the persons making any such proposal to carry it out. GERA will accept such proposal or proposals as it deems to be in the public interest and in furtherance of the purposes of the Colorado Urban Renewal Law and the Plan.
