Denver Post, Ash Street Affordable Housing LLC ("Applicant") will submit an application to the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA). The purpose of this application is to request an estimated $1,024,777 in annual State Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) for an estimated total State LIHTC of $6,148,662. The present value of these credits is estimated to be $2,766,898. Ash Street Affordable Housing LLC will also submit an application to the Colorado Division of Housing (CDOH) in the amount of $1,500,000. This funding will be used to develop 110 of rental units at 1126 Ash Street, Denver, 80220 (the "Project"). The total cost of this development is estimated to be $21,317,854. The request of funding from CHFA and CDOH is to benefit persons with low and moderate incomes by increasing the availability of affordable housing. Written comments should be sent to 1126Ash@MileHighDevelopment.com and will be forwarded to CHFA and CDOH for consideration during the application process. Members of the public are also invited to attend a public hearing which is scheduled for Monday, January 26th at 7:00 p.m. at Dahlia Street Church of Christ, 1100 Dahlia Street, Denver. At this hearing the Applicant will present additional information about the Project. Members of the public will be given the opportunity to offer comments or to ask questions.
