Silver City Sun News, Be it remembered that at a regular meeting of the Area Transportation Authority in Silver City, New Mexico, on the 17th day of December, 2014, the following proceedings were had and entered of record. NOTICE OF MEETINGS RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Open Meetings Act, Section 10-15-1 to 4 NMSA 1978, as amended in effect; andWHEREAS, meetings of the Area Transportation Authority desire to comply with the provisions of the aforementioned Act; andWHEREAS, Section 10-15-1(D) of the Open Meetings Act requires that the Area Transportation Authority shall annually make a determination regarding what shall be considered reasonable notice to the public for public meetings:NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:1. All meetings shall be held in Grant County with location to be specified. 2. Unless otherwise specified, regular meetings shall be held on the third Wednesday of each month at 9:00am at the Grant County Commissioner's Chambers. The agenda will be available 72 hours prior to the meeting from the office of Corre Caminos, 3033 Highway 180 East, Silver City, New Mexico. Notice of any other regular meetings will be given ten (10) days in advance of the meeting date. The notice shall indicate how a copy of the agenda may be obtained.a. The Chairperson of the Area Transportation Authority or Executive Director is authorized to determine those items to be placed on the agenda of a regular meeting except that a majority of Area Transportation Authority Board at any regular meeting may set the agenda for any future meeting (s).3. Special meetings may be called by the Chairperson or a majority of the members upon three days notice. The notice shall include an agenda for the meeting or information on how members of the public may obtain a copy of the agenda. The agenda shall be available to the public at least seventy-two hours before any special meetings.4. Emergency meetings will be called only under unforeseen circumstances, which demand immediate action to protect health, safety and property of citizens or to protect the public body from substantial financial loss. The Transit Authority Board will avoid emergency meetings whenever possible. The Chairperson or a majority of the Board members upon twenty-four hours' notice may call emergency meetings, unless threat of personal injury or property damage requires less notice.The notice of all emergency meetings will be posted in the Silver City Depot, the Deming Depot, and notification will be given to the media.Done at Silver City, New Mexico this 17th day of December, 2014.
