Schedule A - Downtown Revitalization Project Phase IV and Schedule B - Hospital Road Water and Sewer Extension will be received by the OWNER, City of Brush! located at 600 Edison Street Brush, Colorado 80723 until 10:00 AM., local time, January 14th, 2015, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the same location. Contract Documents and Specifications may be obtained electronically, starting December 10th, 2014, by contacting Brian W.W. Thomasen ((303) 202-6463 or brian.thomasen@nv5.com). The successful BIDDER will be required to furnish Payment and Performance Bonds and comply with the insurance provision as specified by the Contract Documents. A 5% Bid Bond will be required. The successful Contractor will be required to furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bond. Qualifications to the Bidder should include: experience in water, sewer and storm pipeline construction, ability to obtain necessary permits for construction, ability to post performance and payment bonds, and ability to deliver the work in conformance with specifications within the contract time. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site trips, 10:00 am, January 7th, 2015 at 600 Edison Street Brush, CO 80723. Only firms attending this conference will be considered for award of the contract. Prospective Bidders may visit the site between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM on weekdays. Oral clarifications will not be binding. Basis of award will be the lowest responsive and responsible Bid as determined by the OWNER. Owner may award either or both schedules to the same or different contractors. OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and to negotiate contract terms with the Successful BIDDER, and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or conditional Bids.
