Denver Post, NOTICE OF A PROPOSED PROJECT OR ACTIVITY WARRANTING PUBLIC COMMENT Denver Zoological Foundation proposes a project at their Waste Management facility located at 2300 23rd Street, in the City and County of Denver, Colorado. The Denver Zoological Foundation is proposing to build and operate a waste to energy facility to convert zoo waste to heat and electricity to be used at the zoo. This project is subject to public notice because: the source is requesting a federally enforceable limit on the potential to emit in order to avoid other requirements. The Division has made a preliminary determination of approval of the application. Comments concerning the ability of the proposed project or activity to comply with the applicable standards and regulations of the Commission are solicited from any interested person. The Division will receive and consider written public comments for thirty calendar days after the date of this Notice.
