Denver Post, NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGCONCERNING THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS BYTHE COLORADO HEALTH FACILITIES AUTHORITYCONCERNING A PLAN OF FINANCE FORCHILDREN'S HOSPITAL COLORADO AND AFFILIATESNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Colorado Health Facilities Authority (the "Authority") will conduct a public hearing at 3033 East First Avenue, Suite 301 in Denver, Colorado, 80206, onThursday, June 13, 2013,at or about10:00 a.m. concerning the proposed issuance by the Authority of its tax-exempt revenue bonds in one or more series and in an aggregate principal amount of not to exceed $350,000,000 (the "Bonds") for the benefit of Children's Hospital Colorado (the "Hospital"), a Colorado nonprofit corporation and organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the "Code"), and the approval of the plan of finance to be effectuated thereby.Proceeds of the Bonds will be used by the Hospital, Children's Hospital Colorado Foundation (the "Foundation"), a Colorado nonprofit corporation and organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Code, and Children's Hospital Colorado Health System (the "Health System" and, together with the Hospital and the Foundation, the "Obligated Group"), a Colorado nonprofit corporation and organization described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Code, for the purposes of accomplishing a plan of finance that includes (i) refunding all or a portion of the City of Aurora, Colorado Hospital Revenue Refunding Bonds (The Children's Hospital Association Project) Series 2008B (the "Series 2008B Bonds"), (ii) refunding all or a portion of the City of Aurora, Colorado Hospital Revenue Refunding Bonds (The Children's Hospital Association Project) Series 2008C (the "Series 2008C Bonds"), (iii) financing the acquisition, construction, expansion, renovation, improvement and equipping of certain hospital and healthcare related facilities for any or all members of the Obligated Group, and reimbursing the Hospital for expenditures made in connection therewith prior to the date of issuance of the Bonds, (iv) paying interest on the Bonds (or a portion thereof), (v) paying the costs of issuance of the Bonds, and (vi) funding any necessary reserves for the Bonds (or any portion thereof) (all such purposes are referred to collectively herein as the "Project").
