TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, and particularly, to the eligible electors of the proposed Big Sky Metropolitan District No. 5 ("the District") in the City of Lakewood, Jefferson County, Colorado: PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given of an organizational election to be conducted on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the election is to submit to the eligible electors the questions of organizing the Big Sky Metropolitan District No. 5 (the "District"), electing directors and voting upon certain ballot issues and ballot questions. This election is being conducted as an independent mail ballot election. Mail ballots are required to be mailed to eligible electors between 22 and 15 days prior to the election date. Commons Avenue, Suite 2000 Centennial, Colorado 80122 Tel: (303) 858-1800 The office of the Designated Election Official is open Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., beginning at least 22 days prior to Election Day (October 13, 2014) and from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Election Day (November 4, 2014). The maximum estimated debt service mill levy for the first year following the District's organization is 50 mills. The maximum estimated operating mill levy for the first year following the District's organization is unlimited by the District's service plan, but is anticipated to be no more than 10 mills. The maximum estimated fiscal year spending for the first year following organization is 250,000. The boundaries of the proposed District are as follows: approximately 171 acres located in the Rooney Valley, generally bounded by Highway C-470 on the west, West Yale Avenue on the south, West Alameda Parkway on the north, and South McIntyre Street on the east.
